Pitches

[edit] GLSML pitches in London
Greater London is a big place, covering just over 600 square miles and with a population of over 7 million. There is a cluster of pitches in Regent's Park but apart from that, softball (being something of a minority sport) gets played in some pretty far flung corners of the city, from Southgate to Richmond and from Acton to East Ham. Away games make up half of a team's fixtures per season and getting from one side of town to the other in rush hour for a 7pm start is sometimes no mean feat. A couple of seasons in and, as a Tecumseh we can guarantee an encyclopedic knowledge of last buses and trains to places you'll never need for any other reason.
